"You Exist"
In my thoughts throughout the past,
as the man I most needed.
That filled my heart with hope,
the man I wanted.
You existed.
One to watch the sunrise with,
and one to gaze at stars with.
Strong arms to fall asleep in,
whispered words to wake up to.
You existed.
To share triumps and sorrows with,
as well as to laugh and cry with.
For a new morning's kiss,
and a nightly hug.
You existed.
In my dreams throughout my lifetime,
tucked away in my heart.
The "special" one to fill the lonliness,
someone to share my life with.
You existed.
To caress my soul, and my body,
to make love to in sweet hushed tones.
To fill me with the joys of love,
and the wonders of being loved.
You existed.
Through all the years of waiting,
the quest has never ceased.
To find the one already within my heart,
my friend, my lover, my life.
You now exist.
