It can't get much easier than this and it's rich, filling and delicious as well.
1 lb of lean ground beef or extra lean (I normally use lean)
1/3 cup of very finely crushed cracker crumbs - like dust almost (I use my dough roller to roll over them in a sandwich bag no mess that way)
good shot of fresh cracked black pepper
sprinkle of salt
couple of pinches of garlic powder (not garlic salt)
several pinches (maybe 1/2 teaspoon?) of onion salt
1/4 cup of canned Franco American beef gravy
(Note... I do not add an egg to this but you can if you want I guess. They hold together fine without it.)
Mix it all together.
Get a pan and grease it or pam it. I use Pam, it's easier and adds less grease. (long pan - I use the long disposable aluminum cake pans)
Roll meat mixture into 24 meatballs and place them in the greased pan
Put in oven @ 350 degrees F for 15 minutes
then roll them all over and cook another 5 minutes
Once that is done - pour the remaining beef gravy in a pot and spoon the meatballs into the pot, turn it on to heat the gravy. Voila!
Cook some nice egg noodles to go with this and yummy. Fast and easy and filling and not all that bad for you either. Note* don't just tip the pan and pour the meatballs into the pot of gravy or you'll get the grease from the pan too and you don't want that.
